PTC or Paid-To-Click program is one of the last online earning gigs that I've learned and actually
tried. ^_^. I began my online career (part-time) as an internet
marketer for my
husband's trading business in 2004 and it was only in 2010 when I
actually tried joining PTC sites (just out of curiousity). Here's
what I've found out.
Good Points (PROS):
- PTC is very easy to learn and earn from. You earn on the day that you join the PTC site.
- You can join and participate for FREE. :)
- No technical or special skills required. You only need to understand simple English instructions.
- You only need to spend a few minutes to earn. One ad runs from 3 to 60 seconds only (the longer the ad, the higher the pay).
- No fixed hours. You can go online anytime of the day to do your PTC activities.
- You get paid for referring new members and earn bonuses from your referrals' activities.
- You can always rent referrals to earn more - if you don't have the time to promote.
- Low payout amount. From $0.10 to $2.00 - minimum required to withdraw your earnings.
Bad Points (CONS):
- Earnings is very low and slow - especially for free members. Each member can only view a certain number of paid ads each day equivalent to about $0.02 to $0.04 of earnings each day. So if you are a member of a PTC site that offers $0.04 worth of paid ads per day (w/ minimum payout of $2.00) then it would take you around 50 days before you can withdraw your earnings from that PTC site.
- Most PTC sites turned scam after a few months.
- Not a good way to earn especially if you have slow or average internet connection. As it will definitely waste a lot of your time.
Innovation of PTC Sites:
Before there were only two ways to earn from a PTC site and that is for viewing paid ads and for referring new members. But now there are several ways to earn such as...
- Get paid to promote.
- Get paid to complete sign-up offers.
- Get paid to read emails.
- Get paid to exchange traffic.
- Get paid to "like" a Facebook page.
- Get paid to auto-surf YouTube videos.
- Get paid to do simple online tasks (i.e. Google research, categorizing websites, etc.)
PTC is here to stay and it's really a waste if you're online everyday and not taking advantage of the "free money" being offered by these PTC sites. Just be careful in selecting which PTC sites to join.
Which PTC sites to join?
The following are five of the 7 PTC sites that I actually joined and have earned (and still earning) from. All of them has been in the business for more than 2 years and with good paying record.
- Clixsense is one of the longest running PTC sites.
- You can earn around 2-3 US Cents per day (as a FREE member) and 5 - 10 US Cents and Up for paid members ($17 per year membership fee).
- Free members also have the chance to win up to US$5 a day in their Clixgrid program (25 clicks chances for free members and 50 chances for paid members.
- Earn more if you have referrals. There are 8 referral levels , so if you have referrals - you can earn from their referrals too (up to 8 levels). However, the 8-level referral system only works for paid members.
- Payment is thru PayPal and Payza. They pay members twice a week - every Mondays & Fridays.
- Minimum amount to cash out via PayPal is $8.00 for free members and $6.00 for paid members.
- Now with paid simple research tasks gigs worth $0.03 to $0.11 per tasks done.

- Earn around 3-4 US cents per day viewing 15 to 30-second ads (many ads to click).
- Earn additional 3-4 cents via the auto-surf system (viewing Youtube videos). Just open the auto-surf page and leave it for a while and do other online activities. You will keep on earning with the auto-surf as long as there are videos running.
- You can also earn points which can use to advertise in the site.
